Recent News on Alumni of CSDA

Congratulations to the CSDA Class of 2009!

Katie Munroe (Class of 2009) has accepted a job as a Career Counselor at Bridgewater State College!!

It sounds like she'll be doing lots of fantastic work counseling and advising students on their future career paths, working with alumni, serving as a liaison to various offices on campus and community resources, and of course bringing all that awesome spirit and humor that she shared with us over the past two years!

Greg Baker (Class of 2009) has accepted a position at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a Health Educator in the Center for Health Promotion & Wellness. Greg will continue his great work at MIT Medical working directly with the MedLinks program and providing support for fraternities, sororities, and other independent living groups.

We all know Greg will do an amazing job and will most likely become some sort of super human genius because that is what I assume happens when anyone steps foot on the MIT campus as either a student or staff member.

Aileen Axtmayer (Class of 2009) has just accepted and started her new position as an Academic Advisor at Wheelock College. Aileen will be wearing a number of hats in this position as she has a specific caseload of first year students who she will advise both academically as well as with career development issues. We're all really excited for Aileen and know that she will do a great job.

Courtney Sprague (Class of 2009) recently accepted a position as a Career Counselor at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia! Courtney just moved down to Virginia a few weeks ago and is enjoying her close proximity to Washington, D.C. In this position, Courtney will counsel and advise undergraduates and teach a Career Development Series each week among other roles in her office. We wish Courtney the best of luck at her new position and new home in Virginia! You'll be great!

Sarah Weiner (Class of 2009) was offered a Residence Hall Director position at our very own Northeastern University. Sarah is running two buildings in West Village and is happy to be staying at NU. For faculty, and current students, be sure to stop by and see Sarah in her new digs in West Village C. Sarah will continue to build great relationships with offices on campus and assist the students she has come to know very well. Best of luck Sarah and congratulations!

Jessie Ramsey (Class of 2009) began her new position as a Residence Director at Endicott College up in Beverly, MA. Jessie was hard at work in the field of Residence Life while she attended NU and will only become a better professional as she starts her career at Endicott. Best of luck on the north shore Jessie, don't get too distracted by the beach across the street from campus!

Colin Smith (Class of 2009) acquired a position at Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a Career Development Specialist. Colin will continue his work in the Careers Office at MIT in this new role, and will serve as the liaison to the Computer Hardware and Software Industry as well as Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. We're very excited to have you sticking around Boston, Colin! You'll do great!

Dave LePage started his new job as a Career Development Specialist at UMass Dartmouth's Career Development Office! We all know Bubba's easy going personality and good sense of humor will make him an awesome counselor that students will easily relate to! Best of luck to you Dave!
